Breakfast: The usual—toast with pear-plum jam and a caffe latte.
Lunch: …oops? I had some birthday treats that Jodie had gotten for everyone because it was Aneesa’s birthday!
Tea: Gelato with an old friend from Arizona who happened to be in Florence this week! We both had milk chocolate and peach gelato.
Dinner: Tortellini in brodo, mashed potatoes, and a stew of chicken, mushrooms, and bell peppers. Then a biscotto and an orange for dessert.
Also a note! This is my second to last night in Florence (which I’m very sad about) and soon I shall be adventuring out into the wilds of the British Lake District for spring break. I won’t be continuing this over break, most likely, and I’ll have to decide whether it’s worth it to continue it in London (as my food will be much less exciting…). Anyway, spring break will involve some blog reevaluation and also hopefully some very-late posting of other things I’ve been meaning to blog about!
Also I forgot to take any pictures today, so here’s a picture of the art studio door as we said goodbye to it for the last time!
Arrivederci Firenze. I hope you have a lovely time in the Lake District.
