Breakfast: Some American-style bread (baked the night before by Jeanne) with pear-plum jam and black tea, as I tried to finish studying for my art history final.
Lunch: A panini (the same bresaola-cheese-pear one I usually get) with a friend from Claremont, eaten in the surprisingly warm sunshine by the river!
Tea: Black tea and a chocolate eclair thing–a simultaneous goodbye to my Florentine cafe and a time to finish up my art history paper–the last of my assignments here in Florence.
Dinner: A goodbye meal from my lovely, lovely host family: homemade pappardelle in a cream sauce with peas and proscuitto,
chicken with herbs, and cauliflower with olive oil. Then, for dessert, a very fancy tart/cake/thing with strawberries and oranges.
